Searches can be limited to Electronic Content, Fax/Ariel content, Journal or Book Title, or Subscribed Titles only. The Fax/Ariel Content portion of this database (formerly known as CARL Uncover, Uncover Reveal) includes more than 20 million records. Search by publication title, by keywords in the title or abstract (if an abstract is available), or by author. Although there is no full-text or subject search capability, the sheer size of the database makes it a comprehensive periodical database. IPFW faculty, staff, and students may establish a free account to receive weekly search alerts or tables of contents of particular periodicals by e-mail. The Subscribed Publications portion of the Ingenta database provides subscriber access to more than 6,000 full-text periodicals; of these, IPFW currently subscribes only to about 50 publications. The Journal or Book Title search offers the option to browse for words in the publication title. Articles needed for rush delivery may be ordered from the Fax/Ariel portion of the database using a credit card.
